I seem to be on a peanut butter kick this week, so I wanted to finish out the week with one of my granddaughters’ favorite recipes.  This one is great in the summer when the kids want those frozen sugar laden pops. They are a healthier solution.

Frozen Peanut Butter Pops

  • 3 bananas
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 6 popsicle sticks

Peel and cut the bananas in half (crosswise.)
Push a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half.
Spread the peanut butter onto the banana halves, then roll and press into the chopped nuts.
Place in freezer for at least 2 or 3 hours.

If your kids or grandkids are like mine, they will hardly be able to wait til these are frozen. If I know in advance that the grandkids are coming I make these up ahead of time.
