Today is National Barbecue Day! In honor of that, I have a non-traditional grilled burger for you. These grilled Portobello mushroom burgers are juicy, tender and oh so satisfying. Even the meat eaters in your life will love these hearty sandwiches!

Ingredients
- 4 Bun-sized Portobello Mushrooms cleaned and destemmed
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 4 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce
- 4 Gluten-Free Hamburger Buns
- 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 8 Butter Lettuce Leaves
- 1 Large tomato thinly sliced
- 1 Small red onion thinly sliced
- 2-3 Dill Pickles thinly sliced
- Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions
- 1. Preheat an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high.
- 2. Brush the mushrooms with olive oil on both sides and grill just until fork-tender, 4-5 minutes per side.
- 3. Brush the mushrooms with BBQ sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper. Grill for another 1-2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- 4. Spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each burger bun, top with the BBQ grilled mushroom, lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, red onion, and pickles.
- 5. Serve immediately.
- 6. Enjoy!
