Easy Lunch Box Chicken Sticks
This recipe is great for school lunches, just remember to use a cold pack so that they don't spoil.

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the seasonings and the oil.
  3. Add the chicken strips to the spice mixture and toss until chicken is well coated.
  4. Remove chicken and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet. For crispier sticks, use an oven safe cooling rack on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. A meat thermometer should read 165 degrees. The time will depend on how thinly you sliced the chicken strips.
  6. Remove from oven and cool on a rack.

Chef's Tips:

  • You can use regular boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips if you don't have chicken tenders.
  • These are delicious chilled and packaged up for a picnic, served warm or at room temperature.
  • Don't forget the dipping sauce. 🙂
