These frozen fruit pops are not only refreshing, but they are healthier for your kids than the store bought frozen treats. Why? Because with the frozen fruit pops you control the sugar. Personally, I think that with most fresh fruit, if it’s ripe, you may not even need the added sugar.

Frozen Fruit Pops
Instructions
Put the fruit, sugar, honey, and lemon juice, along with 1 cup of ice in a blender and blend until mixture is semi-chunky.
Add another 1/2 cup of ice and blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into popsicle molds** and freeze until firm. About 5 hours, or overnight.
Recipe Notes
*If using peaches or other fruit with a skin on it, remove the skin before blending in the blender
**Run Popsicle holders under warm water for a few seconds to unmold the frozen treats.
If you don't have Popsicle holders, you can always use bathroom size Dixie cups and Popsicle or wooden craft sticks. Just freeze slightly before inserting the sticks into the center of the cups and remember to peel the paper off before serving.
