If you’ve been reading my blog for very long, you all know that I love summer. I also love grilling out and a good barbeque sauce. I could never find a store bought BBQ sauce that I loved. So I started experimenting and came up with this one. Once you taste this one, you will never go back to store bought again. Yes!!! It’s that good! My husband and I don’t like a hot BBQ sauce, but if you do, you can always up the amount of hot sauce in the recipe.

Gluten-Free Smokey Bourbon Barbecue Sauce
This lightly smokey flavored BBQ sauce is easy to make and tastes delicious on ribs, pulled pork, pork chops and chicken, especially wings. It’s a perfect balance of sweet, spicy and tangy.

  2. Whisk in all the rest of the ingredients and combine well.
  3. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove pan from heat and allow to cool.
  5. Remove onion quarters and dispose of them.
  6. Use immediately. And Enjoy!
  7. Can be stored up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. But I doubt that it will last that long.
