When my mother-in-law was in her late 60’s she decided that she needed to lose weight. So she went on this crazy milkshake diet. This recipe is one of the milkshakes she used to make, only she used skim cow’s milk.

Whenever we would go over to their house my daughter who was about 6 or 7 at the time, would ask her grandma to make this shake for her. She loved it. I’m not a huge peanut butter fan, so I substitute almond butter for the peanut butter.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 frozen banana, cut up
2 Tbsp peanut butter

Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth and creamy. You can add a dash of honey if you like.
Pour into cold glasses.
Makes 2 servings.
